We were expecting an ice storm and boy did we get it and we are still getting it. It took me an hour and a half to get home tonight. It usually takes me 25 to 30 minutes to get home. I was so nervous the whole way. I kept thinking about Miles in the back seat and praying we would make it home safely and we did. There were a few times that I wanted to pull over and have Jonathon come pick me up, but I did not and I made it home. When I got to the driveway Jonathon was looking outside and came to meet us. I couldn't make it up the driveway (I only tried twice) so I put the car in park and told Jonathon I was done. He pulled the car in the garage safely.
Miles had a good day at the sitter. Sarah said the last hour he was a little fussy. She said she would rub his gums and he would calm down. They felt a little swollen to Sarah as well.
He fell asleep on the way home so he was ready to go when he woke up. A little irritable, but did well. He figured out how to truly jump in the jumperoo. It is the funniest thing to watch.
I was thinking today and he will be 7 months next Tuesday. How time flies when you are having fun. It is so amazing how much you can love somebody the first time you see them. We are truly blessed.
Hope everybody stays warm and doesn't lose power.

I thought it would take you awhile to get home. It took one of the parents 3 hours to get here from Springfield and it was after 6 before the little guy left.
ReplyDeleteI hope Miles gets his tooth soon. I could tell they were bothering him today by the way he would quiten down when I would rub his gums. He is alot of fun to watch him jump in the jumperoo!
Have a great weekend!
